Michael W. Gozzo has a track record of more than 40 years as a Specialist and a Trainer in the fields of Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, Demand Flow Technology, Just-In-Time, Total Quality Control, Manufacturing Systems Implementation, and Production/Operations Management. 

An Executive Consultant and Project Manager with CATTAN, Mike’s experience covers the industries of cosmetics, food, aerospace, instrumentation, metal cutting, and consumer products.  He has been on the forefront in implementing such concepts as Bar Coding, Benchmarking, ISO 9000, Just-In-Time, MRP/MRP II, and Supplier Certification.

Both an Executive Program Master’s Degree from the University of New Haven, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut, round out an impeccable background.  He has extensively traveled and worked in Canada, England, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Middle East, Scotland, South Africa, and Taiwan.

 

Mr. Gozzo is the co-author of “Made in America—The Total Business Concept,” “Just-In-Time Purchasing,” “Supplier Certification,” “Behind Bars: Bar Coding Principles and Applications,” and “People Empowerment—Success through Involvement.”  In addition, he authored the APICS training aid entitled Cycle Counting and is a Certified APICS Instructor (Master Level).  He is a frequent lecturer for numerous universities and colleges throughout the United States, Europe and Canada.
